Ultima Labs was founded in Brisbane in 2016 by Evgeny Nazarov, a senior software engineer, technical lead and solutions architect with more than two decades of hands-on experience.
We work with founder-led and growth-stage businesses that need experienced technical support across architecture, product delivery, stabilisation, software development and ongoing technical leadership.
Our role is often simple: help the business understand what is happening technically, decide what should happen next, and provide the leadership or delivery support needed to move forward.

Evgeny Nazarov is the founder and director of Ultima Labs. He brings more than two decades of experience across software engineering, technical leadership, solution architecture and product delivery.
Over his career, Evgeny has worked across complex software platforms, integrations, cloud systems, payments, automation, property technology, hospitality systems and custom business applications.
His strength is helping businesses turn technical uncertainty into a clear path forward — whether that means reviewing a codebase, stabilising delivery, leading a development team, improving architecture, or acting as a fractional CTO / technical partner.
